Refund Policy for Classes

We hope that you won't need to change your mind regarding your purchase of one of our classes, but if you do, we’re here to help! We offer full refunds if you cancel more than 30 days prior to the class start date. If you cancel 30 days or less before the class start date you can enroll in a different class up to 1 day prior to class start (dependent on availability) or receive a refund to the original payment or as a store credit.

Deadline to receive 100% refund is 30 days prior to first scheduled day of class. Deadline to receive 75% refund is 14 days prior to the first scheduled day of class. Deadline to receive 50% refund is 7 days prior to first scheduled day of class. Deadline to receive 25% refund is 1 day prior to first scheduled day of class. No refunds or store credits will be issued after the first scheduled day of class.

To initiate a refund, please complete the following steps:

1.     Forward your order confirmation email to Heather@RubiArtist.com to request the class you would like to have refunded.

2.     Be sure to include your full name, the name of the class, and your preferred method of reimbursement in your email.

3.     After you receive an email back from me, follow the steps provided to receive your preferred method of reimbursement.

Additional Information:

  • Refunds take 1-5 business days to process (excluding weekends and holidays) and can take an additional 1-3 days to appear in your account.

  • Store credit refunds will be provided in the form of a gift card to RubiArt courses.

  • All refunds are subject to a 14% restocking fee regardless of the cancellation date.

  • Courses bought on sale will be refunded based on the sale price.

  • Processing fees will no longer be refunded for full or partial refunds.

  • Cancellations of a class due to low enrolment numbers will be offered the following options: keeping the ticket to use at a later date for the same event if rescheduled, receiving a full refund in the form of a gift card, or receiving a full refund to the original payment account. Restocking fees will not be charged for classes that are cancelled due to low enrolment.

Refund Procedure:

All refunds are processed using the same payment method that was used during the initial transaction. The funds are transferred within 1-3 business days of the confirmation of the refund. When returning a gift, the reimbursement will be in the form of a virtual gift card.

Refund Policy for Items

We hope that you won't need to change your mind regarding your purchase, but if you do, we’re here to help! You can return your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method up to 30 days after receiving your product.

Please note the following exceptions to our return and refund policy:

  • Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • Returned items must be returned in original product packaging.

  • Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use.

  • Damaged returned items will not be refunded or exchanged.

To initiate a return, please complete the following steps:

  1. Forward your order confirmation email to heather@rubiartist.com to request which products you would like to return.

  2. Request a pre-paid shipping label to be emailed to you.

  3. Return all products in their original condition and packaging with the new prepaid shipping label affixed over the original shipping label.

Additional Information:

  • Regularly priced items must be returned within 30 days of receiving your order. Items on sale must be returned within 10 days.

  • Refunds take 1-5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) to process after the returned item has been received and an additional 1-3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) for the refund to appear in your account.

  • We do not refund shipping costs incurred by the customer to return items.

  • A shipping fee ($25 for within Canada, $60 for international) will be deducted for customers who choose to use our prepaid shipping label.

  • All returns are subject to an additional $20 CAD restocking fee.

  • Damaged returns are ineligible for refund.

  • Download and other virtual items are ineligible for refund.

  • Lost returns are not charged a restocking fee and are only eligible for 50% of the original price as a store credit.

  • Processing fees will no longer be refunded for full or partial refunds.
